Free worldwide shipping on all products at SilentTrax.
- Order processing — conversion kits and batteries: 7–14 business days. This is the time until we hand the parcel to the carrier; transit time comes on top and depends on the carrier and the route — we tell you when the shipment is scheduled.
- Order processing — electric bikes (Sur-Ron, Talaria): dispatch within 30 days, delivery 30-45 days after dispatch.
- International shipments: import duties and taxes may apply depending on the destination country — payable by the customer.
- Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number. See Track Order.
Battery Transport
Because lithium-ion batteries contain high-energy cells, they are classified as Class 9 dangerous goods (UN3480 battery standalone / UN3481 battery contained in equipment) under international regulations for the transport of dangerous goods.
What this means for your delivery:
Batteries are transported exclusively by licensed carriers holding a permit for the carriage of dangerous goods. Most standard courier services (door-to-door) and all air freight companies categorically refuse to handle such shipments.
Due to these strict requirements:
- Delivery of a battery (separately or fitted in the bike) takes longer than a standard shipment.
- Delivery to every location or automated collection point is not possible.
- Shipment outside Bulgaria to other EU countries depends entirely on whether we can find a carrier for that specific route who accepts dangerous goods.
