Indicative prices for common repairs
This page implements Article 5(5) of Directive (EU) 2024/1799 (the right to repair):
manufacturers — or, where the manufacturer is established outside the Union, the importer —
must give consumers access, through a freely accessible website, to information on the
indicative prices charged for the most common repairs of the goods listed in Annex II.
The electric vehicles and kits sold here contain batteries for light means of transport
and fall under Annex II, point 10 (Regulation (EU) 2023/1542).
How to read this page
The price of a repair consists of the price of the part and the labour.
The part prices below are our actual selling prices in this shop — the same prices at
which you can buy the part on its own. They change together with the storefront.
Labour depends on the model, the condition of the item and the amount of work involved, and
for that reason it is not published as a single figure. What you get instead is stronger
than an indicative price: a written quotation before any work begins, valid for 30 days
(Article 4 of the same Directive, the European Repair Information Form). Until you accept it,
you owe nothing beyond a diagnostic fee, and only if one was expressly agreed in advance.
Repairs within the two-year legal guarantee of conformity are free for you — no
diagnostic fee, no labour, no parts. See section 6 of the Terms of Service.
Batteries
The battery is the most expensive part, and therefore the only one whose price you know in
advance to the cent. Replacing a whole pack costs the price of the pack plus labour:
| Part | Our selling price |
|---|---|
| 48V battery | €429.99 – €669.99 |
| 52V battery | €399.99 – €529.99 |
| 60V battery | €469.99 – €679.99 |
| 72V battery | €529.99 – €799.99 |
The range reflects different capacities — see the product page for the exact variant.
For repairs inside the pack (battery management system, individual cells, charging port,
fuse) the price is lower than a whole new pack and is given after opening and diagnosis, with
a quotation valid for 30 days. Such a repair is not always possible: if a pack is swollen,
water-damaged or punctured we refuse to repair it on safety grounds, and we tell you so
immediately and free of charge.
⚠️ Batteries are dangerous goods (UN3480/UN3481) and travel under special rules. The cost of
specialised transport for an out-of-guarantee repair is stated separately in the quotation,
never added silently.
Drivetrain, electrics, running gear
For these parts — controller, motor, bearings, throttle sensor, display, wiring loom,
switches, lighting, brakes, tyres, chain, suspension — we do not sell the part separately
on the storefront, so we have no public selling price we could honestly show you.
The price is therefore formed as follows, and this is binding on us:
1. You tell us what has failed. Answering costs nothing.
2. If diagnosis requires disassembly, we agree the fee for it in writing and in advance —
you never discover a charge after the fact.
3. You receive a written quotation itemising part, labour and transport separately. It is
valid for 30 days.
4. If you accept the quotation and have already paid for diagnosis, the fee is deducted
from the price of the repair.
5. If you decline, we return the item in the condition in which we received it, against the
diagnostic fee already paid and nothing else.
You will not find an invented "indicative price" on this page for parts whose price we do not
know in advance. A binding quotation is more honest than a figure we would then fail to keep.
Spare parts
We provide access to spare parts subject to availability from the manufacturer, at a
reasonable price that does not impede repair (Article 5(4) of the same Directive). For lead
times and availability, see the shipping page.
If a part is no longer manufactured and repair is impossible, we say so in writing and charge
nothing for the time we spent establishing it.
How to request a repair
Write to silenttrax.co@proton.me or call +359885217664 with the model, a description of the
fault and photographs. You will receive an answer with the expected lead time and, where the
repair falls outside the legal guarantee, the quotation — before we start work.
